“Tonight?” she quirked a brow: “About an hour ago.”

The Countess restated her inquiry, “Your bout with the vice of alcohol. When did you first begin to drink? Centuries past?”

“On and off, oui.” She shrugged: “I drink, and when I am drunk, I go to bed. No mayhem whatsoever.”

“You have consumed three bottles?”

“Yep.” Nijah nodded: “I had more before. Surprised? “

Perhaps, there were moments to observe Nijah when she let the vice of the wine overtake her form. “When did you begin your endeavors?”

“Tonight?” she quirked a brow: “About an hour ago.”

“I believe our kind’s alcohol tolerate level are far higher than mortals, Countess.” She smiled sweetly at her: “Do not worry, I know when I should stop and head for the coffin.”

“No matter if we are able to metabolize, or there are those able to partake of human nourishment and vices, does not mean we should consume it. By your form, it seems you are quite inebriated, Nijah. How many goblet of the vice have you consumed?,” she questioned.

“Tonight?” She frowned a little: “This is only the third bottle.”

“You will soon be the greatest of lovers with the vice of alcohol, Nijah. A new lover who will bring you to ruin,” she warned.

“New lover?” She shook her head: “Not likely for some time. I am happy to be by myself at the moment.”

With the ability for her to drink the vice, he would surely be the worst of lovers for Nijah. “Yes, Alcohol as I have observed many times over becomes the lover for many humans who become drunkards.”

“You do not place such vices in the hands of those within my household,” she mused as she began to lean forward her. “You do not have them become drunkards.”

“I will remove them from this household at the end of this evening, Countess.” She nodded: “Most of them are mine, anyway.”

Nijah:The Countess is nice.

Mun: Her mun is nice, too.

Nijah: Haven’t visited the Countess for a while, feeling rather guilty.

Mun: …………..You moved out, you did not have to.

Nijah: What? Then having someone accusing me being a whore?

Mun: Jamie didn’t mean it. He was in pain, remember? He was nice to you afterwards. Besides, the Countess did ask you to stay.

Nijah: (sigh) She did, didn’t she? And most of her advise are quite helpful, too.

Mun: Back to where we started, she’s nice. :)

“I do not believe Nijah would hope that, to be honest. She learned that the day she confessed her feeling to the Marquis and got rejected. ” Frowned Patiyk thoughtfully: “But she sees it as part of her promise, or contract she gave his lordship. She will hold onto her end of the deal.”

Yes, The Count could only imagine just how The Marquis went about rejecting Nijah. “Of course, which I commend Nijah on. No matter what, she holds to promises, however, she should talk to Countess. Learn from her in the same manner The Countess learns from her on how to keep her rage from flying off the handle. This week alone she has stabbed a few servants and smacked a few people in the streets.”

Patiyk burst out laughing: “Arh…the adorable Countess. The last time Nijah merely raised her voice to another servant of her master during breakfast resulted her being flogged and locked in the room for whole day. I understand she and the Countess will be attending a charity ball in a few days, non? Perhaps it will be a perfect opportunity for them to talk more.”

“She does not really go boo-hooing, wel, not intentionally.” He smirked a little: “But are you suggesting her have many lovers as the Countess does? It was not as if she had not tried that. We both know it did not end well.” He sighed: “She did not wait for her wound to heal.”

“No, it is not what I am saying,” he stated, wondering if Patiyk would be the ornery male to rut everything in sight. He knew his own penchants went towards a few lovelies. “No, I am not informing you to tell her to bring many lovers. What I am telling you is that she needs to have a better idea of how to get rid of people who are not in it for her.” For The Count, he did not console with women who were of the evenings. Nor did he merely rut every female who fawned over him. “Just because there is a pretty, handsome man smiling at her it should not come to mean he is going to treat her well. Better for her to be single and be happy with herself before she can be elated with another.”

“Which is what she’s kind of doing now.” He shrugged: “Perhaps she will remain that way until the Marquis return, which is goodness knows when, dearest Count.”

He did not know how to tell her this but knew it had to be said, “She has to know Marquis is not going to fall in love with her, Patiyk. Not because I feel arrogant in knowing he will not, but because the Marquis was never meant for love or to love. Yes, he enjoys his possessions, but I hope Nijah does not pin her hopes and her dreams upon him to fulfill it. He will never love Nijah or fall for her, even more if he were to fall for Countess. Why do you think they are a perfect match? Two people who do not love bringing two households, while they carry on with others?” It was strange, but fitting.

The Count began once more to take up the dancing with Patiyk. “That is the thing, dear Patriyk. She cannot think she is being stumbled to fall. You have to jump over the hurdles and keep trudging through the landfill. Do you think it was easy for The Countess and I to move on from Ferenc?” The Count never appeared when the moments between Ferenc and Countess were intimate. It was not his place to take away from the two. However, when he was entrapped with Countless in the castle walls, there, they spoke of how he was good to her, to the children, to Hungary. “She needs to see that her time as a slave will not affect and hold onto her actions of now. Yes, people will reject her company or reject her affections, but tis not all who will reject. The Countess gets rejected a lot of times, do you see her crying and boo-hooing? No, she moves onto the next and picks her lovers for more than their appearance or rutting attributes. There is something she sees in them. Something some people might not see.”

“She does not really go boo-hooing, wel, not intentionally.” He smirked a little: “But are you suggesting her have many lovers as the Countess does? It was not as if she had not tried that. We both know it did not end well.” He sighed: “She did not wait for her wound to heal.”
